My wife and I are at a point where we have too much money sitting in checking/savings so I'd like to start putting 5-7k per month in some healthy dividend producing stocks.

I'd like to be able to access the money with 2-3 months lead time for other investments so it volatility isn't a huge issue.

Anyone have any recommendations?

TIA

The dividend aristocratics would be a good place to start.

Aren't you a clever one.

God forbid I ask for other people's input and use Google.

Not really. I'm 35 and both my wife and I work. No kids so it's easier to put money away.

u want monthly or quarterly payers? if u want damn good returns look at REIT's and BDC's which are monthly but may not have the capital gains other lower paying dividend stocks would.
