Are they worth it for rewards if you are going to disney in 14 months? Thanks.

Not really. Chase Saphire and other airline and hotel cards are much better bang for your buck

That is kinda what I was thinking. I just did not know if I use the card at the parks if there are special discounts. My wife was reading it all to me last night as I was falling asleep.

I got rid of mine as they cap the rewards. Too many other cards are better.

They tout a few small perks tht can be used at the park, but it's not something I would have used.
I guess some people might find the 6 months interest free on trip purchases useful

Not worth it. I have one because I didn't realize how little value it has. I think there's an extra character meet and greet in Epcot or something. Chase Sapphire Preferred or Barclay or Capital One Venture will bring you greater rewards.

depends how much you spend quite honestly and what you would like to apply it to. We are going back in february. I apply all my dream dollar cash back rewards to expenses there or to airfare. There are other discounts also. I also get my DVC discounts but that is different. When we couple them all together it definitely is worth it for us. I have had the Card since 2004 and like it.

we have steadily been going to Disney for 20 years. We have easily made 25 trips in that span as sometimes we went 2 or 3 times a year for different festivals as well as friends and family. That is also why that timeshare we bought cheap in 1998 was worth it for us. Same goes for the CC. if you go often it is worth it. If not.....prolly isn't worth it for you.

Dues can be paid with the rewards card as well.

We are going march of '18. I'm thinking we'll use the Venture card for airfare.

Besides the rewards you earn which you can use any where in Disney, at Epcot you can go take a picture with a couple characters and get a free printout. And usually there is no one in line which is awesome. I forget exactly where it is but just ask a worker where the Disney chase credit card picture location is located.

We are going Mardi Gras 2018 as well and the wife is pestering me about getting a rewards card. Seems like you could knock down some of the price of the trip if you put all your monthly expenses on one of these cards for a year.

I just got back from Disney last week and the card has its pro's and con's.

I was able to snag $200 bucks for the sign up, +$50 bucks for adding my wife as an authorized user and another $100 for the spending I had from time I purchased to the time I went to Disney. We also got a meet and greet with Mickey and Goofy at Epcot and we did not meet Vader at Hollywood Studios because our 2 year old would have been terrified. We were the only people in there with Mickey and Goofy.

We also got 10% off at the gift shops for anything over $50.00 and the location of the meet and greet a Epcot is to the left of imagination with figment.

yup. we have done this for years. It works magnificently. You do get less rewards for non-disney purchases but if you try to put as many bills as possible on it and pay it monthly you could have a nice amount of reward dollars by the time you take the trip. My timeshare has been paid off for years(but we still have dues for taxes, insurance and maintenance) however the disney reward dream dollars usually allow us to have at least an airfare or 7 day park hopper pass already paid for before we even leave.

Our flights are already paid for this go around so all we have to budget for is park passes and food/drink which plenty will be paid for with the rewards dollars.

If you really want to save money on the trip, google Disney Gift Card Stacking. We were getting 15% off our trip last year. This year it's probably going to be 10% since the Target website made some changes.
