What happens to Direct TV stock with the acquisition by AT&T?

Cash + Stock in T. Directv will operate independently for a while. Don't know exact details.
Some interesting ways to play dividend / ex-dividend on this one. I had posted something that was taken down Sat AM about whether T had paid too much.

Will AT&T have to sell off any divisions? if not, that effing BS! The company I worked for went thru a merger and we were nailed hard.

Who knows. I know they have been losing U-verse customers lately and this wont help that. They bring on DirecTV and their customer service which is a good thing compared to Uverse though
