I think he meant you can't upgrade your CSP AND get the signing bonus.

They are different products so you shouldn't be DQ'd from getting singup on new CSP whether or not you have a CSP already

Yes, this is what I was saying. You should be able to get the new elite card and still hold your current CSP. Assuming you're not over the 5/24. However, you probably won't get the bonus of the new elite if you simply try to upgrade your current CSP.

I've got the gold delta amex.. Yeah I know bash away.

I got it when they offered me something like 60k miles and $50. So I booked a one way from Vegas for like $90 and used the miles on a flight to Asheville that was stupid expensive.

Not bad for spending $1,000 or whatever I had to reach.

As for CSP Reserve, there's a decent chance I may qualify for that next summer so hopefully they keep that rumored bonus going. Shooting to buy a house this spring so I can't do anything for awhile as is.

I'll be getting that Reserve...or maybe my parents for me, but those 100k points WILL BE MINE.

The 5/24 rule is actually counterproductive for chase when launching a new product. Hopefully they waive it initially to get membership up a bit. If it has 3x on travel and a few other goodies, I'd move almost all of my spend to it and keep it long term.

This may have been answered on here before, but if I currently have CSP in my name, and my wife opens a separate CSP in her name, can the separate UR points (including 50k bonus) be combined onto one of the accounts?

So excited if this CSP reserve is true... 200k points coming our way. I've been pacing myself so right under 5/24.

I've got the gold delta amex.. Yeah I know bash away. Amex is offering 25,000 miles if I upgrade to the platinum card. But the current first time sign up offer for the platinum card is 35,000 miles and 5,000 MQMs. I'm a good member. Would I be able to call Amex and get them to sign me up for the better sign up deal if I upgrade?

I wouldn't upgrade to that card with that offer. Those cards routinely give out 60,000 mile sign up offers. Wait for one of those.

Thank you board for the Zilara recommendation. While it is my first AI experience, definitely been pretty legit.

As a platinum member, they let me upgrade for ~$30/night to a premium suite. I wanted access to Chefs Table and the room is nicer which made Wife happy

Yeah I saw it was 60,000 pretty recently. Will I be able to apply new for the platinum card while currently holding the Gold card and get the sign up bonus?

Has anybody used the UR or SW points to go to Disney or a Disney cruise? I browsed the UR site and didn't see any options. I believe SW points to the tune of 100k can get you a Disney cruise. Any thoughts?

The gig is up on the Citi prestige, as of 7/23/17 no admirals club access, no bonus redemption on American flights (I.e. Was 1.6 cents per point now 1.25), and no more free golf. Looks like I will be cancelling next year before my renewal.

It sounds like they want people to get rid of it.

Eh, it was unsustainable. Too many good perks, they did it to reel you in. But at least they gave us a year advance notice.

Got some pretty sweet photos from the Hyatt Zilara Cancun. I'll write up some thoughts to go with it if anyone is interesting.

ETA: Camera is at home. Got to wait on that

I'd like to hear about it. We were scheduled to go, but I knocked up the wife and she was scared of Zika. So, that trip was nixxed.

I'm interested in your thoughts on the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.
