re: Cost of building a home

We just decided to build and are starting to look at plans and what we like etc. The builder we are probably going with charges a flat or monthly fee and we pay for all subcontractors ourselves. He obviously has people he uses if we don't have a certain person we want. We are hoping to save some money this way with some of the connections we have.
