Consensus on high yield savings accounts

Are these typically just teaser rates that expire after 6 months? Anyone have history with the big names that they would recommend?

I started a 4% checking up 20k about 6 years ago. Went down to 3%, then 2% where it is now. Wasn't really a teaser rate. Just a change in the offering. Can't keep the 4% forever if it's not making money.
