I was thinking of asking this in the tech forum but wanted to try here first.

I have a simple FOREX system that is ok at results but requires staring at the computer more than i'd like.

NT offers a strategy system if you can code your rules.

I have people from india offering for a fee. i'd rather give it to someone in the USA if you can recommend someone to do some C++ coding for me.

Anyone have success finding a coder?

You're asking about an algo, those do the bulk of the trading anyways but how and where do they trade? Like I use interactive brokers, where would this algo that's programmed buy and sell?

Wouldn't something like ThinkorSwim be good for this?

Can you share your FOREX system? I have programming experience, but not in C++. Seems like this would be simple to code though.

it's just a simple MA crossover system.

do you use python?

I'm told C++ is faster at execution though Python is the other language used

I have python experience. So this is something in NT's software platform where you plug your code in? It's not external to NT? Make sense?

I might be a good fit to help you. I've traded a lot and have some programming experience.

yes NT let's you load the code straight onto their platform almost like an indicator.

I would like to take this offline if you're ok with it. i'll get you specifics, maybe you have coded something similar in the past?

Goldman Sachs and Citigroup didn't hire cheap Indians with no finance experience. They hired people who have been doing this for a while, know how to compensate for light speed delays, etc.

BTW, gmail doesn't recognize dots, so your email will work with or without the period.

Not according to Google

If you still think the message was meant for someone else, contact the sender to let them know they mistyped the email address. Note: If you use Gmail through work, school, or other organization (like yourdomain.com or yourschool.edu), adding dots to your username changes your email address. To change the dots in your username, contact your admin.

Gmail also ignores a "+" and anything after it.

So youremail+asdf@gmail.com would still go to you.

Seemed pretty pointless to me at first, but then realized the point was so that you can filter for messages that include the extra letters. So instead of using a burner email address to sign up for crap, you can use youremail+asdf and have it automatically go to a folder (or spam).

If you use commodity futures, take a look at TT's Algo Design Lab. Very intuitive and a great GUI. I've been using since 2012.

Lmk if you want more
