Thanks for your input, boss. But no, that is not all I have for my retirement. I would have specified if so.
For some of you with sarcastic responses:
Because it is a Roth, I would love an opportunity for great tax-free growth and was wondering if this would be a good buy when it is this low.
This isn't the OT...I would expect to have a legit discussion.
Mine was a legit reply. While you didn't say how much money you had for retirement, what you said came off as this is all I have for retirement. Had you have said something to the affect of I have an extra $3300 dollars in my roth and I am thinking about a play here would have illicited (sp?) better responses.
To answer your original question, I would and am putting my money in longer running companies and of course ERN. But then I'm a glutton for punishment and I haven't lost money in ERN until I sell it.

Are they simply reacting to the arbitration shite with McClendon?
That company still is dangerous as frick IMO.

And at what point would you have got out? Now, when it hits $10, $2, $0? It's always easy to look in hindsight when you don't have any money at stake.

Ive had shares for a few yrs now, avg price of ~$8.
I sold it all at a loss ($3.91) earlier this week.
Looking at it now, yeah it would've been nice to sell it now obviously but I am glad to get away from this company.
