You could probably do a balance transfer but you'll be charged a percentage of the balance transferred.

you can transfer balances, but its generally a bad idea if not strategic.

yeah man, just keep a running credit card tab, it's free money if you just keep transferring one to the other, good luck

Balance Transfer is the only way, and also if its a store credit card you may even be more limited in what you can do.

The only time I have balanced transferred was to get more time on 0% so I didn't not pay interest. Credit took a 2 point hit but thats been taken care of now.

A lot of cards have a 0% interest on credit balances for a 12-15 months once you open them up. About as good as it's gonna get.

Used the same strategy here.

i've done a balance transfer before when i needed a bit of time. I may have paid a $300 w/ discover to transfer the balance and had 12-18 mos 0 interest to pay off if i recall correctly. Good idea if you need to, the interest was killing me and i probably saved WELL more than spent on fee.

Be smarter to go get a cash advance from a ATM, use that cash to pay at a Walmart bill pay center. Then you will have paid the credit card 18%, the card you got the cash from 32%, and Walmart 10 bucks to make the payment. What I would do.

Chad is exactly right.

I've done the same as well. Probably have saved $2-$3K of interest myself doing this over the last few years.

If you pay the balance in full each month you don't pay any interest

Obviously the OP isn't able to. Why state the obvious and knock him down?

Always a turd in the toilet and you're it!
