Buying silver

I buy bars, junk silver, and silver eagles. I have a couple of ten oz bars but mostly buy 1 ounce. junk silver is mostly quarters and half dollars. I buy silver eagles twenty at a time.
most of my silver was purchased at gainesville coins, but I made one purchase from apmex.
bars are easy to stack. coin tubes are good for the eagles and junk silver.
its all in my gun safe. my plans are to leave it to my son. of course if the SHTF and the dollar crashes, I will use it for barter. I also stockpile ammo in various calibers for protection and barter.
most financial planners advise to have some metals in the portfolio so I bought silver.
