Books on investing?

What are some good books for those who would like to begin becoming serious investors?
I'm looking for more books about understanding basic concepts in the stock market. I have a Roth and 401k but I just buy mutual funds and then forget about them as I won't touch them.
I want to open a brokerage account and start buying stocks, but I don't really know much at all. Obviously, no book out there is going to be a guide to get rich, but I just want a book so that I can become familiar with the ways of the stock market, before I invest.
