Bump for an e-mail I just got from USAA.

Looks like they're introducing an unlimited 2.5% cashback on everything card. Only catch I can see is you have to maintain a minimum $1,000/month direct deposit into a USAA checking account. If you already meet that, then this seems like a nice candidate to replace the Citi Double Cash as the catch-all card when you're outside of one of the rotating categories.

I have this card, and ordered additional card for wife. Cash back adds up pretty quickly.

Could you answer a couple questions?

- Is the direct deposit requirement just a cumulative monthly total, or does there have to be one single transaction that goes over $1,000? I might divide my paycheck to direct deposit into multiple accounts, just wondering how much I would HAVE to send to USAA

- If you did miss the requirement, is the cashback just suspended until the next month you meet it?

- I know USAA gives bundle savings for having multiple products (checking, car insurance, etc.). Any idea if they stack credit cards with them onto those bundled savings?

I use three cards now depending on what I'm doing.

Restaurants/travel - Chase Sapphire Reserve for triple points

Amazon - Chase Amazon - 5 percent back

Fidelity Visa - Everything else - This one is 2 points for every dollar spent. I really like it because it's an easy way to invest. I'm almost at $2k in a taxable account just from cash back over the last few years.
