LSURussian had the nerve to do a call out thread regarding LSU baseball on the rant and then challenged me to find posts where he ripped Bitcoin.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I plan to do a full recap thread with lots of quotes from Russia, Broke, etc. Should be great fun.
FYI I'm still hella bitter I took the side opposite Wiki. Literally cost me about $30k. Grateful to have made it up in ETH thanks to Omaha.

If you had said I've criticized bitcoin, then I would have agreed with you. But for whatever reason for your personal attack on me, you didn't say that.

The problem is nowhere in this thread do I say bitcoin is worthless.
In fact, I don't express an opinion about the monetary value of bitcoin at all in this thread. Instead I referred to a Jamie Dimon interview where he said the block chain technology behind bitcoin might be useful in other applications.

I'm glad you were wrong. I don't know if I could have taken the rain delays we would have had on Monday. I live about 5 miles from the Box and it stormed off and on all day on Monday.
Getting home from the Box at almost 3 AM Monday morning after the SR win and then getting up at 7 AM to take my dog to a vet appointment damn near killed me.

I also said posters who claimed BTC was safe and 100% untraceable (anonymous) were wrong, and I've been proven correct about both of those.
I said that bitcoin has no intrinsic value, and that is still correct. It has nothing backing it up as a currency or an investment other than fear, speculation and the hope it can be used to purchase illegal or shady goods and services and not be traced back to the purchaser.
I've also posted that the transactional technology behind bitcoin was probably the first step to developing other technologies that would be useful.
So tell me, why did you link this thread in the Rant thread when there is nothing in it which even hints about my opinion of the market value of bitcoin? Are you that desperate to save face that you linked the first thread you found about bitcoin that I posted in although you didn't read the thread?
