Anyone have any thoughts on this?

How much lower do you see it going?

Do you think this is a good opportunity to load up on more?

It's not a terrible time but I'd rather be adding to GOOGL during this drop. They are still growing. Apple seems to be entering maturity like Microsoft hence the stagnate stock price this past year.

My cost basis is $51 on m first batch in my TDA account. But my second batch is with Fidelity and the CB is $89. This shite is getting ridiculous. Apple is killing it, what the frick do oil prices have to do with people buying an iPhone? I know some suppliers cut estimates but I'm just holding long at least until the hype of the iPhone 7 and the price gets back to the $110+ range (hopefully) and then bailing on this stock finally. I've held it since 2008 but I'm tired of watching them crush it but stupid fricking speculators keep manipulating the market.

For a trade or do you plan to hold for awhile? Over the past few days, I've grabbed some at an average in the mid 90's just to play some covered call trades. But my plan is to dump it around $100. That's just a trade.

The core investment position that I've held for many years still needs to be lightened up. But since I've come to the conclusion that Timmy Cook is a man with no (good) plan, the price I'm looking for to dump about a third of that has come down. If the market goes full bear, I'll feel fortunate to get $110 before year end.

I also agree that Tim Cook is marching in-place to a large degree.

I'd leave investing in AAPL alone at this level. There are better values out there right now.

Their growth plan was in Asian markets and Asian markets are collapsing.

Not much Cook can do right now unless he unveils new products.

I think product has to be at the foundation, no matter what. And Cook's inability to (successfully) launch something innovative is what concerns many long time AAPL holders. I feel like Apple has its own version of Steve Ballmer right now.

Earnings are going to be Tuesday, can't decide if I should take my gains now before the call or hold out. Anyone else thinking of selling before?

I got in at $94.10. Plan all along was to sell at $100. Still haven't pulled the trigger though. Very interested in other opinions as well....

My calls had a strike of $100. So, GONE. Quite a take off yesterday though.

Now let's see what happens to the rest based on the earnings call. Cook can't conjure up a good reality distortion field, the way Jobs could.

I think I'm going to hold on to mine through the earnings call. Let's hope for good news!

May not happen but that's my plan
