anyone taken the series 7 recently?

I am dyslexic and thought for sure I would open this thread and see a shiny big bodied beamer.

I found that most people made it seem harder than it was, although it is not to be taken lightly. Always err on the side of caution with the compliance questions. If you plan on taking the 66, I would take it as soon as possible after passing the 7.

Took it about a year ago, know your stuff on munis and options and you should be fine. None of the material is conceptually difficult, there's just a lot of volume.

The 7 is not that bad. People do fail the 66 because they don't prep as much after passing the 7. The prep materials for the 66 are sometimes not as good, but it's no excuse not to pass.

The Series 7 is not that bad, just know municipals and options backwards and forwards and you should be good with a quick review over the materials.
The Series 66 sucks. No other way to describe it, just review enough so you don't have to take it again. Securities law is about as much fun as mowing the yard with a nail clipper.

66 is combo of 63 and 65
