I am interested in possibly buying a fraction of a bitcoin, if possible.
Where do i begin? What sites are best to use? Where and How do I obtain a bit wallet?
Where do I check the market price?
Probably more questions to come.
TIA for any help.

yes, you can buy fractions of bitcoins.
coinbase.com is the easiest and most reputable site to use. it's VC backed and based out of San Francisco.
you can also try sites like localbitcoins.com or Craigslist and just meet up with someone local. if you go that route, please only agree to meet n public, safe locations.
bitcoinity.com/markets allows you to see the prices at most major exchanges.
I'll be around later to answer any more questions you may have.
