AAL is down over 6% so far today. Anyone else keeping an eye on airline stocks?

In the past 90 days they are down from a high of $44 and heading in the wrong direction.

All I know is that LUV has been spectacular this year.

Looming possible travel restrictions can not be helping either.

Airlines are taking a beating on Ebola fears.

UAL IMO has nice value, but I wouldn't buy into any airlines at this point.

I agree. But I think this may create a nice entry point once Ebola fears subside.

ETA: They are taking an even bigger hit today

Because of the travel restrictions or just in general?

Now back up to those highs at $44. Nice quick return of 18% for me. If oil prices stay low the stock should continue to go up. Not sure what to do here..

This drop is re-action to pilots union squawking over profit sharing similar to Delta and possible issues with pilot union so close to merger with US Air.
