Russian (or anyone else) can you explain this to me ?
Yesterday looked pretty bad for them and last week was a roller coaster for the UFS stock. Today it was up pretty big and I sold my 2000 shares.
These guys own 12 pulp wood mills. They make paper and adult hygiene products.
If they're expecting it to go up to 45 should I jump in? Their dividends are around 0.35 a share per quarter.

It means there is a great deal of disagreement among stock analysts about that company's prospects. Don't focus on the highest projected price with any confidence it will happen. Analysts are like weathermen. They can be wrong half the time and still keep their jobs.

I doubled down. I honestly don't believe in Netflix, so I'll wait it out. Definitely was not expecting those earnings though. Good thing it's not real money...

And about UFS, I'll check it in the morning and maybe short some of the stock.
Need ARNA to get back over $5 so I can get on that roller coaster.
Weyerhaeuser is doing poorly too this week. They had some kind of slow down at the beginning of the year. Might not be moving as much product?
They have two separate shares you can buy, WY and WYPRA. WYPRA give about 3x on dividends and cost about 20$ more.

I've been trying to short NFLX since the big jump 3 days ago, but it just keeps going up! It's got to level out at some point, right?

Brink, I said in order to not use the pricing disparity between my Schwab screen and the game's pricing I was going to hold positions for at least an hour. I think that is too long. Some of the trades I want to make, like for DGAZ and UGAZ, holding for one hour is too risky and takes them off the table for possible buys/shorts for me.
The pricing advantage only lasts about a minute, sometimes a minute and a half, so I'm going to amend my voluntary trading sanction to not trade something I've bought/shorted for 15 minutes. This morning I bought 300,000 shares of DGAZ and within 5 minutes I was down over $10,000. So I bought 100,000 more. Then I was watching the clock in order to be able to sell the 400,000 shares somewhere close to the one hour. It was killing me!
I think a 15 wait is very fair and completely eliminates any pricing disparity advantage. I have no advantage over anyone if I wait 15 minutes to close a position.

Man, my portfolio is taking a beating today, only bright spot was shorting PCL. May make 2k off of it. Plan on dumping it by 2:30 today.

DGAZ is taking a hit in after hours trading. Down to 8.11, closed at 8.22.
