I will say this: people act like being born into some wealth means you are set for life and don't have to do anything, but my observations strongly disagree.

It's not an easy feat to keep the ball rolling. It takes discipline, drive, and staying hungry. I've seen countless heirs and families in my area piss away the advantages the previous generation(s) left them. A few managed to hold the status quo and even less added to it, building their own legacy.

So I can respect DBF for growing what was given to him. It was a great leg up that many people don't get, but he has clearly done more than just rest on those laurels. He's gone out and hustled and worked likely as hard or harder than any of us.

Whoooooooooooole lot of haters around here.

DBF is insecure because he tries to prove claims that you all continually dispute.

Whole lot of others are insecure because you can't stand the fact that real people actually have serious money.

Who gives a shite...really?

You sound like the guy I need to talk to on investing. I need another revenue stream but I don't think I want to necessarily get into rental properties.

ROFL

1) I run a chain of gas stations and fast food restaurants bc my uncle passed away and left it to me, but if you see the license thread the other day you'll see my background is in finance and i have more licenses than most on this board. So I quit my finance job to get into the small business world

2.My stock picks have been pretty damn incredible on this board, go to page 1 of the weekly stock thread, both stocks I mentioned wynn and tesla are up nearly 25% in the past month while the market declined so clearly I know how to read a chart setup and understand when a stock is on the cusp of breaking out due to fundamentals, typically more so than your average financial advisor who typically is a schmuck peddling picks. My past stock trades like PM,V,etc have all gone really well while other names some of you tards loved like Ford have gone nowhere but gave you a shite dividend

3. LOL I have you rattled, I love how you think Im apu the corner store cashier, when actually I've posted pics infront of my house with my rolls and bentley, I own a huge chain of commercial properties + residential properties, and I bring more insight to any investment thread than any of you guys in here. I've made my bullish thesis known on every name I say I invest in, and oddly enough they all do incredibly well, those who have followed my trades have done incredibly well.....you obviously haven't so Im assuming a pretty mediocre return on your end.

4. Go in the credit card thread, I posted my JP Morgan Reserve Card with the box it came in, go see the credentials to get one....im not poor in any way, you need to be a member of the JP Morgan Private Bank, let me know what that takes.....so next time you see a run down gas station in your neighborhood, don't think of me, think of me when you see the big $5M+ multi acre ones you see on the highway, thats more my style.

So all in all yea I'd say i am the man, do I show off? Yes/no sometimes a person has to prove they're legit when a ton of you question my legitimacy so yea if im driving my rolls around ill snap a quick pic, no harm no foul, only the mediocre ones get butthurt over it. I get a chuckle how so many say its not a big deal to spend $70k/year to lease 2 exotics like that, but I forgot this is TD and everyone on here nets $1M+

I just read all of this in my head with the tone and inflection of Kenny Powers.

FWIW, bigfella I think everyone believes you when you say you have some money. Some will hate you strictly because you have money, some will hate you because you seem to feel the need to keep validating yourself, some will love you because of your grit and honesty. It just comes down to different personality types. I love Kenny Powers so I kinda like you.

gracias, as for the OP....as always you can see my stock picks with a simple search, but here you go

really keep an eye on WYNN thats my play of the next couple years, it was a $250 stock in 2013/14 got down to $50 2 years ago and has come back. Their metrics are improving every quarter as macau is beginning its recovery. Its my largest position now.

WYNN was 99.19 on march 12 its $116.35 as we speak

then I said

Look at the market cap on Tesla right now, Mobileye for god's sake makes just the self driving software and tesla dropped them bc it wasn't good and intel just bought them today for $15B and Tesla with all of its cars, energy storage, etc is only $39B? Drastically undervalued now after this mobileye deal imo

TSLA was $244.xx at the time.....its now $308 as we speak not even 2 months later

Combine that with the countless threads thanking me for PM,V,MO, you name it and you can ignore the tards who act like im some mediocre stock picking cashier at the corner mart.

I sorta know what Im talking about, and you can search on here and see my long thesis on a name like WYNN or TSLA before I made those calls.

I've learned in life, people will hate no matter what, I once had a woman come up to me while I was filling gas and she basically called me an a-hole for driving a rolls royce, she said I should be helping more people with the money, she literally knew nothing about me but felt compelled to give me her opinion. So Im not shocked a lot of guys on here would get salty if you post pics of a nice house, nice car, large weekly deposit or whatever else they ask for to validate their claims that im an idiot.

I do have alot of time on my hands, but thats bc the wife spent a decade in med school to finish her fellowship so although I'd love to travel and not have so much time on my hand, I can't go without her and she's literally just beginning her career after all these years so she has no time to travel and houston isn't the most exciting town when all your friends are married so TD is my only get away from work, as I imagine it is for many of you too.

Just went back and looked at the invoice you uploaded.

Varying amounts like $5k or $9k per day.

Yet in another thread you claimed to own a truck stop that does $20 million per year in sales (~$55,000 dollars per day).

So is it safe to assume you were lying about that part? Where is the truck stop?

God you're an absolute idiot, yes I'm lying about everything I've ever done. All the pics I've posted, all the stocks I've posted which btw Wynn and tesla are rocking today, the one invoice I posted which was my most recent statement for 1 store, that was all a lie. You're such an incredible douchebag that I love it. Just remember one store in the whole empire grosses me $27k in a week on credit cards not counting cash....how mediocre do you feel knowing that I net $100,000+ weekly and lease $7000/mo in exotics while you cry on here? Enjoy your day texags I know I'm enjoying mine. I'm gonna stick to the ot and sports boards the idiots like texags ruin the money board for me + I'm the only one who adds any real insight on any stocks on here and lord knows I'm bored with all the "what should I do with $1800" threads. Adios money board

Just asking where your $20 million dollar truck stop is you don't have to get so defensive.

It's cool you're rich and all but you don't have to just make stuff up on top of everything.

Lol what have I made up to this point? Do you understand how much fuel large diesel 18 wheelers use? 50,000/day in low margin sales is peanuts. I showed you one of my highest margin, highest profit per gallon stores and it was $27,000 for the week. Do you understand that just bc a store does $20m in sales doesn't mean it's at insane margins that particular store that netted $27k for the week is in the galleria area and sells a lot less fuel at way higher margins. Truck stop margins are nominal at best in relation...you're a complete moron. Getting $27,000/week sans cash from 1 location is pretty decent when your only bills are electricity + property taxes + 2 $9/hr cashiers. Also your sales figures only count credit cards at the pump & do not count at all inside sales done at the register or cash.

Good job. Telling though how you lash out at anyone who questions your claims on here, then resort to bragging about your cars. I guess money cannot buy humility.

Hope I've never done or do business in any of your stores. Have a good day

So, uh, yeah - I'll be your best friend. Do you recall the scene in The Wolf of Wall Street when Leo meets Jonah Hill's character in the diner? Yeah, that's me right now. So when & where do I move?

Yea good job at being a moron, I'm glad I could clear up for you that there is such a thing in business as margins. Better locations allow for higher margins in some cases going from .06/gallon to $.75-.80. A store that does $20m in sales on a freeway, with large trucks filling up hundreds of gallons at a time oddly enough does not net what a store with a bunch of soccer moms driving range rovers in the inner city does, who would've thought that. Do you wanna know another big secret, the people in nice areas are inelastic to prices being .20-.30 higher than those in the suburbs...would you believe that too? So in summary, stores in the city sell less at much higher prices per gallon than those in the country, got it? Any other business lessons you want from me you can find me in the ot
