2 small bombs kill 3 people and the vix shoots up?

so let me get this straight, the market was down on gold being hammered, it was down down 100-125 pts, then a small bomb goes off killing 3, yes sad but still 3 people, and the vix shoots up and the markets loses another 150 pts?
damn we're sensitive to news, love the buying opp created, but watching the media talk abt the flight to treasuries for safety is

I'm kinda disappointed my buy point for AAPL hasn't been reached... but I guess I should be careful what I wish for...

I have a friend who has a position in UVXY and i told him to cash out for so long bc those erode so hard over time, and he came back and texted me jumping for joy how his inverse ETF shot up 30% after the bombing.....never seen anyone so happy to see a tragic event

I bought at 455 then averaged down to 438. I don't think I wanna put anymore $ into iCompany right now, but I really feel like it will have a big run pretty soon.

Your numbers are off. It was already down 168 at 3 PM when the news first hit at CNBC. After that, it was only down 195 at 3:48 PM. It then dropped off another 70 in the final 12 minutes.

I'm confident in my buy. Always nice to hit the bottom but as long as its a good quarter I'm going to be in the money.
