Wife and I just got back from hello sushi on Highland...
appetizer: ordered gyoza dumplings... came cold.

sushi: ordered two hamachi and two saba... they never even made it to the damn table (they said: sushi is backed up... can i offer you a free sake? )

Entree: Teriyaki Steak Med. Rare... came to the table cold but med. rare... sent back to kitchen to get the steak heated up... came back well done and still cold... not even sure how this is possible.

yeah, they were pretty good when they first opened, and have quickly gone down hill. the bartender there didnt even know how to make a black russian-one of the easiest cocktails to mix. their sushi also is no where near as fresh tasting as some of the other places around town.

I recommend Duang Tawan on S. Sherwood and Coursey.

I was pretty much a regular at Kamado's for a long time, but have tried this place a couple of times have have been pretty impressed.

I had dinner there Friday night. The sushi was good and the kids loved the habachi

Sushi Yama on Perkins Road is my favorite, the New Orleans roll, Monroe roll, and Tuna Tataki are my usuals - but i really like tuna. I think the food is better than Ichiban.

I've had more than one bad experience at Hello Sushi. Try Ichiban or Koto.
