Mike Leach, Texas Tech 12. Nick Saban, Alabama 13. Jeff Jagodzinski, Boston College 14. Jim Leavitt, South Florida 15. Butch Davis, UNC 16. Jeff Tedford, Cal 17. Dennis Erickson, ASU Current College Coordinators 18. Will Muschamp, DC, Auburn 19. Bo Pelini, DC, LSU 20. Jimbo Fisher, OC, FSU 21. Gary Crowton, OC, LSU Current NFL Coaches 22. Mike Shannahan, Denver Broncos 29. Norm Chow, OC, Tennessee Titans My personal opinion is that Saban will not and should not come back. Rodriguez and Tuberville are long shots, as are all of the NFL guys except Del Rio and Petrino. If Mason was any good he would have a job already (assuming he wants one). Ice Cold Wartime Consigliere Member since Jun 2004 9933 posts Online	re: Updated: List of HC Candidates (Hypothetical) (Posted on 11/21/07 at 8:07 p.m. to back9Tiger) LSU needs either a "Louisiana" guy (e.g., Del Rio?) or a guy whose alma mater or roots would not be as big of a draw as far as coaching destinations go (e.g., Kelly, Central Michigan?). Even with Del Rio, you might wonder if he would have his eye on USC? I keep hearing about his daughters and LSU, so maybe that's something. LSU is firmly entrenched among the CFB elite, IMO, and shouldn't have to go through this every three or four years.

Dietzel left in 61 Arnsparger was just "going to talk" to Miami left late 80's Notre Dame wanted to talk to DiNardo (should have let them) Lord Saban...well we know Miles....
