First...tebow was going out of bounds...clearly out of bounds when he was hit...good call by the ref- the face mask? yeah...flag would have thrown and Miles would have declined the penalty in favor of the TD- but yes a flag should have been thrown but the outcome would have been the same

My "heading out of bounds" comment- Tebow was CLEARLY out of bounds when he was hit- FACT! The defender was in the air when he hit Tebow- FACT If Tebow had been tight roping the line, and step out at the same time the defender launched at him- then I would have thought it was a bogus call, seeing the defender had committed and could not hold up This was not the case....tebow had taken a step out of bounds...on purpose...he was not advancinng the ball- the defender left his feet as tebow was stepping out- that my friend was a correct call by the official

(Posted on 10/8/07 at 2:32 p.m. to barry) it was an iffy call that could have gone either way. he was running directly for the sideline and looked to have no intention of turning up field, but he was hit in bounds, so...make your own judgements, i think all is fair game if he is in bounds BECAUSE THAT SEEMS TO BE THE RULE This post was edited on 10/8 at 2:33 p.m.
