That deer looks like it could be fake, but there are several cases of deer in Canada that have gone in the high 300's to maybe 400

Possibly true. Canadian whitetails are much larger than the ones roaming the Louisiana swamps.

Mule deer are bigger than whitetails and blacktails.

I say it's real. I had friends kill deer in Upstate NY that were pushin 300+ pounds. So it's possible they could get bigger. Not all deer are small like the german shepard sized ones in Louisiana.

looks like to me that his left hand is wrapped around his horns pretty tight.

If that's a photoshop job, I've never seen one as good.
