geaux4geauxldtigah LSU Fan Virginia Member since Oct 2009 119 posts	Reason Why Boise Should Be Left Out of BCS = LSU (Posted on 11/7/09 at 7:26 a.m.) Okay, so is Boise a REAL #5 ranked team nationally? They beat LA Tech last night by only 10 points. When we play LA Tech next week, I would really be surprised if we don't win by 30 points, regardless whether we beat Alabama this week and move up the rankings or lose to Alabama and fall from the rankings. Boise = Fraud!

I love Boise State, met Coach Peterson, walked on the smurf turf......all that good stuff......Still don't believe they are a top 8 football team.

They didn't look like #5 in the country last night though so even though they beat Oregon (which was a great win)the rest of their schedule is weak. Make them play Georgia, Florida, Auburn back to back and let's see how they do. Not undefeated I can assure you!

If tech had even a bad secondary they would have won. More often than not it appeared that Tech's secondary was on the opposite side of the field from where the ball was thrown. The most wide open receivers consistently I have ever seen. Boise's QB aint that great. LSU's secondary would rape him.

There's too many other undefeated teams that play far harder schedules. Don't get me wrong- that win over Oregon was impressive, but not enough....

I think that on that 4th and 1, if ya'll go for it and convert you win the game. It's a shame that, that one lay pretty much knocked ya'll out the game. I respect the program as well as your players. They never gave up and I really wish I could've seen boise taken down.

LSU will destroy Tech, BSU should have lost to them............ lol In seriousness though, Boise has one game on the schedule to worry about. and that game was early in the season before the teams have gelled and all. I'd bet Oregon would win that game right now. BSU should play one of these schedules that Fresno used to play if they want to get considered for BCS games IMO. Of coarse they will probably get in one anyway.

Dooley preaches about how the tide turns in games and you have to stick in there and weather the storm when things are bad. The players have bought in to that and that pick 6 really changed the direction of the game. Up until that point, Boise was humiliating us. But Tech was playing a ton of Freshmen last night and next year may be special.
