The Hawkeyes have been living on borrowed time. They will not go undefeated. Besides, LSU just needs to win out. In all honesty, if LSU wins out and Iowa does go undefeated and ends up in the BCS title game instead of LSU, I won't argue, because a BCS conference team with one loss has little to argue about over a team from another BCS conference that goes undefeated.

Cincy's strongest OOC opponent is Illinois. The Big East is a shell of its former self and they are not much different from CUSA or Mountain West IMHO.

Way too many what ifs. Everyone's assuming the top ranked teams cant be upset by an unranked opponent. People, how many seasons of college football have you watched??? Its gonna happen, trust me. I wouldnt worry about it too much right now. Let this thing unfold. Going undefeated from here out, will without a doubt put LSU in a great spot. We still have a daunting schedule remaining. So sit back and enjoy the ride. Geaux Tigers

Either of those two could possibly take them down - - maybe both. My point from earlier is this - unless you are undefeated, you really don't have any room to whine. Now, if we're talking about teams with equal records in the loss column, then that's a different story altogether.

Lesson to be learned: Win over the Human Polls and you swindle the system. This is where politics get involved.
