Im a State grad and alum, but have family members and friends who are Ole Miss alums and they have had a hard time coping with Losing Col. Reb and the rebel flag, but losing Dixie just is taking too far. Personally, I dont think that a song such as Dixie can upset someone. I actually like the slow Dixie and hope Ole Miss gets to keep it.

The Faculty Senate later took a vote in support of the association and Jones. Its amazing how they have one good year, and beat LSU in Baton Rouge, and also beat Mississippi State bad, and now they "CLAIM" that LSU is their "REAL" Rival and Mississippi State is just another school.

Now however, I no longer respect them for that because they are caving in like everybody else. First they took away Colonel Reb from the sidelines and now they may take away Dixie? Let's face it, that's about all Ole Miss has going for it.
