Member since Dec 2006 3097 posts	Pete Carrol vs. Les Miles (Posted on 1/16/09 at 3:44 p.m.) When making the decision to go Pro early, Who would you rather your future in the hands of: A coach like Miles, who says I'll help you in any way, but this is you and your families decision. I will pass along as much info as I can get from the scouts and experts. or A coach like Petey, who chunks you arse under the bus, after he told you that you should stay, and you decide to declair for the draft. All the experts are saying this is a good move, but Petey says this is bad and that he does not agree with it. It appears Petey puts his career ahead of the a kids future. You decide.

BUt they are in meltdown mode over Sanchez leaving. As another poster put it, not a rant-sized meltdown, but a meltdown nonetheless. Not sure what thet is about. It's not like we've never replaced a great QB before and we do have two excellent QB's in waiting.

He played great this year, seems like a really fiery competitor, and he had his best games against what seemed to be the best competition. He was one of the few bright spots in the OSU loss, even though he did have that costly pick at the end. Its just a shame to see a kid like that start off in a hole with something to prove to the scouts because his coach doesn't even give him an initial thumbs up. I was surprised is all. Didn't PC even give Mike Williams the thumbs up in 03 even though he was only a sophomore and most people thought his lack of speed would hurt him, which it did?

The Rant will find a way to make Les the greatest coach in the history of football with a comparison: Vince Lombardi vs Les Miles Vince gave his kids wrapped presents for Christmas only.
