(Posted on 11/16/08 at 6:44 p.m.) I'm not going to sit here and tell you how shitty you all are because of it. Instead I'm going to tell you thanks. Thanks for leaving because: 1) there was nobody there to "boo" our players while they were on the field. 2) you made travel at the end of the game very easy. You all played your part in giving the LSU fanbase a pretty shitty name for some time to come. If you don't believe that doesn't have some negative affect on recruiting, you are dumb. You no longer have any room to talk when ESPN, or any other type of media, rips LSU and its fans.

I didn't really want to go to the game this week, was given the tickets to take someone who has never been to a game before. 2. It was cold 3. It wasn't my decision to leave the game, I was just like whatever. 4. LSU looked like crap. I said over and over again, give them another chance. They came out after half gave up another TD, got the ball on offense and looked like crap again. So we left with 8 min left in the 3rd. It's TROY! LSU shouldn't be ranked this week for the way they played though. It was absolutely horrible

You can be a shitty fan and say stuff like that about the team you are a "fan" of. Or you can be proud of our players for never feeling like they were out of the game even through they were down by 28 late in the third quarter. A win is a win, and we found a way to get it. Should we be fired up that we struggled so much against Troy? Hell no!! But the way our players never packed it in, like so many of the fans did, was great.

But it was so cold.....it was in the forties, try being a Green Bay fan I paid for my tickets and I'll leave when I please......give them to someone who really wants to be there Everyone around me was being negative.....are you serious? BTW there were more Michigan fans in their stadium at halftime and they are 3-8. We are 7-3 w/ a chance of going to the Cotton Bowl. They are all but dead this year and they still have support. The question some people need to ask themselves is: would you still attend the game if you knew (were 100% certain, could predict the future) we were going to lose? ESPN was right this time.

Guess I don't watch enough sports TV to catch all of this negative media attention you have seen. Let me do search online and see if anyone outside of message boards and blogs has this on their radar. EDIT: OK, just did Google search for all news articles for LSU Fans Leave Early. Not one news article referring to this since last night's game. So much for all of this national media buzz! This post was edited on 11/16 at 7:06 p.m.
