So I've been watching Zach Lee during his baseball career (after he decided to take the money and run) and as of last year (0-9 in AAA for the mariners), he's sucking pretty bad.

Would the tigers welcome this guy back as a 25 year old freshman QB recruit? Could he still even hang at this level?

Just a thought

Wasn't this a similar situation to Mauck?

Yeah wanted to put his name in the title but didn't want to seem like an ambitious prick

I doubt he'd be turned away. Depth at the qb position is always nice and if he can shake the rust off he could be great.

What's the guys name who was the Okie State qb circa 2011? He was like 27 when he graduated because of a failed minor league career. Dude was a hell of a college qb

Yea Brandon Weeden. He's a backup for Houston now I believe.

Dude was a first rounder at like 27-28 years old.....

I would think LSU would still welcome him. Josh Booty did this.

If he was in fact enrolled at LSU even for a few days, doesn't that matter? Just asking.

Florida State's Chris Weinke circa 1998 comes to mind.

His clock never started. So, he'd be good to go.

He wasn't even a great QB recruit. Move on.

He was a three star. I think it would have been great to have him, but I do think his hype was overblown.

His hype was mainly as a two sport athlete.
