Exactly my point. The normal kids need to regain control.

they could move the band up to the 200s and move the media

Yep. I love the band - I was in the Bengal Brass for 3 years, but they definitely don't need to be in the front with the way the sound travels.

I've also never understood why the stoic media is in the very front as well. I guess consolation for our lack of a sufficient press box.

You keep saying this. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I don't see you out there cheering or trying to rally the troops. I think this board needs to stop railing on the fans that show up for every game.

Those "normal kids" don't want to wait in line for 6 hours or even show up 2 hours early to the less anticipated games.

Because there is no need to. That's why they're fricking normal.

There is no reason for those kids to sit in the student section for 90% of the games because they can go sit in prime seats elsewhere. Why sit baseline if you can find a seat at mid court?

Eliminate the band.

One of the great traditions about college football & basketball is the university bands.
Piped in music is shitty & should be left for the clubs. The assembly center & tiger stadium are better without it.
LSU is hell bent on turning both venues into nba & nfl arenas.

So far, we have (actually possible):

Beer
New scoreboard
Moving the band and media
Less band playing
More hype music
Student points to encourage attendance
Students behind both baselines

New scoreboard and beer. Or just plow that piece of shite arena down and build a field house style gym.

I don't organize anything. I do what I do at all LSU sporting events. I show up early, I want seats close to the action, and guess what, I'm not a dick to kids who don't do anything but cheer loudly and act "weird"
