2010
Greatest game I've ever been to. Best story for me too.

This is weird, but apart from obvious answers, I like 2002.
Only road trip to Gainesville that worked out for me.

1997 and it's not even close.

Unfortunately not old enough to remember 97 so personally 2007 and 2011. I might not be a student here now if we don't go 5 for 5 in 2007.

2007 was the best football game I've ever watched.

1997 was classic but 2007 was epic!
Plus it lead to a BCSNC

1997. I was 6 years old. one of my favorite memories of all-time was my Dad carrying my down onto the field after the game.
2007 is a close second. that roar of Death Valley after the USCw score was announced *gets chills* ...I haven't heard anything like that since.

2007 is going to be tough to beat - and I don't go to many games in person and almost none since then (my last game in Tiger Stadium was the 2010 Bama game ) - and I consider my extremely fortunate to have been there. I sat right behind Teresa Hebert and one of T-Bob's little brothers.
That was the best football game - strike that - the best live event of any kind I've ever attended. The whole gameday atmosphere was unreal.

My favorites: 1977. LSU got out to a 29-0 lead en route to a 36-14 rout of a good Gator team. 1967. LSU beat an excellent Gator team 37-6 in GAINESVILLE. 1963. LSU and Billy Ezell, and Billy Truax, shut out a good Gator team 14-0 in Gainesville, right after Florida had upset a Bama team led by Bear Bryant and QB Joe Namath.

LOL. I celebrated my 44th birthday by watching LSU upset the Gators 28-21 in 1997.

def 1997.
freshman year at LSU, and watching Herb Tyler and Kevin Faulk put on a clinic on how to run the option.
still have that game on dvd and watch it from time to time.

Barely remember a thing but my first game ever in Tiger Stadium was in 1964 vs. FLA (I was 4 years old).
The best FLA game has to be '97 though...wish I'd have been at that one.

1997 -- to that point, that was the most excited I had ever been about an LSU football game. I was on a football high that carried over into the next week (which came to an abrupt, frustrating end the following Saturday).

1982 - I was a student then and nobody, I mean NOBODY gave us a chance to win against the Gaytors that season.
Hilliard put on a show, Risher did well throwing and the defense smothered Florida.
After that, it's the 97 game.
