Any thoughts? Is the lineup what you would have liked? The order of pitchers where you would have had them? Do the players seem prepared to you?

He set the pitching order as well as he could have IMO knowing what he knew. No problems there. Id prob have coomes at DH with jordan on the bench, but other than that, not bad.

I love talking ball strategy. What have you seen that gives you this impression?

Only issue I have is Beau at DH. I would have given someone else a shot at this point. And maybe bump Kramer down a spot in the batting order.

I have no problem with the strategy CMP used with our arms. Just shite luck to have Walker get hurt.

Walker got hurt in the third inning. Errors. Lost by 12. All the coaching staff's fault. Oh yeah, also Kramer's fault.

Players seem flat. Seems like they are prepared, but there is no fire.

They just look like they are going through the motions. Its disturbing that its the leaders of the team doing it though.

Lineup is what it is. I was optimistic about it, since they were playing so well in the sec tournament. Cant fault the coaches for keeping it.

My real with baseball is the whole slump mantra or not taking someone out of the game while they are slumping. I thought Kramer should have sat at the very least the last inning of the Oregon game. Give someone an inning and see what happens, maybe lets him see what everyone else is seeing.

Lange was off on Saturday, but battled his arse off and Poche came in and was great. The bats were pretty cold, but the guys never gave up and gutted out a win. I really thought we would come out and play a lot better on Monday, but losing walker and the errors were just too much to overcome against a team that good. Our bats will now have to carry us the rest of the way with our pitching staff in shambles. The only thing I want to know is, why the struggles in Omaha since 09? 13, 15 and 17 we've come into Omaha as one of the hottest teams in the nation, if not the hottest, only to have our bats go cold. Don't get it.

Since Walker was questionable, saving Poche for OSU was a clever move.

Not at the plate, swinging a first pitches in the dirt, swinging at balls blah blah blah. Made the OSU pitcher (who is good) look like Greg Maddux.

For whatever reason LSU has not looked very prepared in Omaha, pitching, fielding and hitting have all been less ham impressive to say the least

But he wasn't questionable. He felt fine Saturday after his bullpen. Unless you think PM, who is always overly cautious with his young stud arms, suddenly said "frick it I wanna win at all costs!!!"

We are not hitting the ball very well. We did not pitch the ball very well Monday. We made a ton of both mental and actual errors that cost us dearly Monday.
Our only advantage over last year was the development of a third starter, who gave us two innings before leaving with an injury. Oregon St. Is better than us.
They are doing well with what we have been delt.
