Also blacked out in Huntsville TX because of Bryan. The blackout area is based on IP address.

Still feel bad for that lone LSU fan who lives in southwestern Nebraska..........

Looks like the LSU Alumni Association for Dundy County (Pop. 2,008) is going to have to cancel their get together.

Roku

Need to figure out a solution with this. I stream everything at home using Roku.

As someone else mentioned, I know previously someone has had a live stream that I've been able to view on a Roku channel. Hopefully that guy is still around. I'd still like to find a reliable alternative for streaming these CST games on Roku.

Austin seems to be fine but can't really tell. I don't think we have cox here.

I looked at a map of Texas that I made the same size as the blackout map. It will be really close. The blackout area on the ESPN map goes all the way to the middle of Texas. It may be just above Austin but I don't know if there is an area north of Austin that would be blacked out and not include Austin. Good luck !!

I'll ask on the tech board. I don't have a clue how or if it can be done.

I'm fortunate to live in Houston and they don't black out here. I think there was a game or two last year where the guy with the stream was shut down. I may be wrong about the year but it could happen.

I mean if all else fails I can hook my laptop to my TV... it's just easier with the Roku because it's already hooked up.

Thanks for the Hotspot Shield tip. I may have to use that if a Roku solution can't be found.

ETA - Apparently there is a way to use VPN with Roku... but you would have to install the VPN on your router. I'd probably end up fricking up my entire internet connection trying that so I'll probably just stick to the laptop and run an HDMI cable to my TV.

Honestly, that's what I would do. It's only a few games per year. I would watch on my computer before having to spend no-telling how much money to get someone to fix my router/internet problems after I messed with getting a VPN installed.

Looks like Atlanta will be okay. Going by the ESPN map and comparing to the Google map.

Thanks for the tip, Tiger Ree. I used it on my iPad, and was able to watch.

Could not stream thru my Chromecast, so I used my lightning to hdmi direct connector to watch on my big screen.

This app will come in handy, whenever future ridiculous blackouts are in place, so thanks again.

Just wish Tigers had fared better.
