Tropical storm against Florida state. I remember the cars could not get out of the grass lots after the game.

Had to be 90 or 91 maybe

Hell lets say they would have rescheduled the game for tonight at 6 or the same start time. Looking at the radar we might be in the same boat again.

You wouldn't reschedule the next day at same time... You would reschedule for the following morning/ early afternoon start.. For that very reasoning and then if you still can't get it in then cancel. Monday being a holiday would have been perfect for them to play today, Sunday around 11 am

You clearly weren't there. It wasn't so bad right when the teams left the field but then it was a torrential downpour with cloud to ground lightening pretty Damn close to the stadium. My crew stayed until they called it but the lightening just would not stop and a slow moving storm just wouldn't blow over .

I was a kid crying in my living room during that beat down.

How much lightning was with that storm ( not associated with the Hurricanes ), because I've never even heard of a rainout in football .

I had to leave early to get a good seat at Walk On's.

I left after the second play.

I stayed until the bitter end for both games...UM rain was significantly greater... waterfalls down the stairways.

Rain didn't cancel the game lightening did.

Well, if you chose to sit through all the lightning strikes that were all around the stadium, you are a short lived fool. It was not called because of rain
