You might not recognize a lot of usernames b/c cause for the first 8 weeks they were no where to be found. Continue supporting the Tigers!

Never understood the obsession with the guys salary. Would you be happier if he made only 2 million? Who cares what he makes 4 mil is the going rate for a coach with a National Championship resume anyway.

I agree with op tho i just watch and enjoy the tigers play any and all sports. If they lose I move on and wait for the next one.

Don't sweat it. The oldest piece of LSU attire that the negatigers own says "2003 National Champions"

This line of thinking is so ironic. Some people will have OP's opinion no matter who the coach is, and yet in your attempt to paint that position as one in defense of Les Miles, you've only proven that your actions or thoughts regarding LSU are the ones that revolve solely around Les Miles.

If I told you that the only way Miles gets fired is if LSU loses out this season, would you prefer that to happen or would you want LSU to win every game they play? The way some of you come off, it's clear you'd rather LSU lose to get your way, even when your way is a mystery and how it plays out is not known whatsoever.

Because the pumpers favorite slogan these days is "it's just a game"

My reply, if it's just a game then Les can take 10 bucks an hour

good grief.

The reason is that with high salary comes high expectations. We're spending a shite-ton of money on Les and his staff, and we expect results.

It's like the CEO of a company - if you get paid millions, you damn well ought to have your company running smoothly and efficiently and maximizing its potential.

So yes, if you make millions, the scrutiny will be higher.

Thinks Les Miles sucks; wants a coach that will work for minimum wage.

Yes...because the buyout would be much less.

If LSU hired a coach for $2 million during this age of college football, there is probably a great chance that the LSU program would be a cellar dweller.

Do any of you have any perspective outside of LSU? It's obvious many of you don't.

Do you? I was simply saying that if I could snap my fingers on this day at this moment and leave everything else unchanged then yes I would absolutely prefer it. If it meant that LSU would have to forego all 11 winning seasons then no I wouldn't.

Sometimes I think you argue just to argue.

Most fans get frustrated after a loss. There is nothing wrong with feeling disappointed. If you never felt disappointed after a loss, then it means you likely won't experience a similar emotional high with a big win. It shows that you are invested in the team.

That being said, the negative dissent right now is a culmination of years of being on the cusp of greatness. It is further exacerbated by a former head coach consistently dominating with a team in our same division.

Sure, I support my Tigers win, lose, or draw. However, that doesn't mean that I can't be unhappy watching a team utterly collapse following a loss in the biggest game of the year. I'm emotionally invested in this team, and I want to see them accomplish great things. My hope is that they realize that they can still use the remaining games to set the framework for next year. Perhaps if they win out, they can see their potential and build confidence. Lose most of the remaining games, and it once again puts a negative spin on the direction of LSU football.
