Okay, not really live but still seems like more "buzz" for sure.

Amazing what a little hope, energy and enthusiasm will do for a program.

I feel like some of yall are really taking this "new energy" stuff overboard. It's the day before our home SEC opener. Those people with those RVs were going to be there regardless of the change at head coach.

ETA: Forgot State was here, point still stands.

Coach O has already re-energized the fan base. If he wins a lot of games, the fans will make Alleva's decision to not retain him as HC much harder.

Yes, plus he's serving jambalaya before the game!

No they wouldn't. For Florida, Ole Miss, Bama...sure. But not for Mizzou. There wasn't that much for JSU and that was the season's home opener.

Do you even Mississippi State?

If you can't see or feel the raised level of excitement, then you're not looking. The amount of people at the live call in show, the positive tones on talk radio and message boards, the amount of people just out and about last night in Baton Rouge....it's real.

It may only last 36 hours, but right now it's very real.

Why do you care so much how excited other people get?

I feel like you need to quit trying to ruin the fun. Its friday. Grab a beer, relax, and let us hope for a better tomorrow.

I don't disagree that her is more excitement; however, RVs setting up the afternoon before an SEC game is not anything new.

Definitely new life being pumped into the season. Might fall apart but at least for the time being there's something to be excited about.

No, it's not new, but it is revived for a game of this magnitude. There are more there today than there were in previous weeks and years when LSU has faced an opponent similar to Mizzou (13 point underdog).
