WTF Is Up With Our Defense?

Does anyone who knows anything about defense know what is going on? (Obviously horrible place to come for good info, but some of yall make good contributions.)
I've never played a down and hate Xbox. This is as far as I can see:
JJ9 gave Welter the pics. Line gets no pressure. We can't tackle. Mills gives up touchdowns (any idea how many this season?).
All in all the D looks bad and has been trending this way since the start of the 2012 season.

Lots of great offenses in the SEC this year. We just lack great talent and experience. Our secondary coach isn't that great either.

Our senior class is playing on Sundays in the NFL. Their back-ups have not stepped up. This would have happened to just about any team. If this years recruiting class comes together, the talent will be back in Baton Rouge. Ask again after signing day.

I agree a bunch of those NFL players should be in purple and gold still. At least Bennie and Tharold.
But frick, last year it was "our offense sucks that's why our defense sucks." This year it's "our players are young" or "we don't have the talent."
Everyone makes excuses for the jefe.

Our highly touted recruits aren't as good as expected. The talent we have is young. We can't put pressure with the front four like we have before which give QBs all day to throw on our young secondary. Our LBers aren't that good and can't help stop the run. So basically if teams can run and throw, we have major issues. Blame recruiting. Blame juniors always leaving. Blame the coaches. It's a mix of all 3.
