Fournette is a once in a generation player

Exactly. Which is why it is odd that so many "fans" are so quick to just toss him to the trash heap.

But again, this is typical of LSU fans which is why collectively we are the absolute worst fans in the country.

It's LSU fans. What do you expect

No shite.
Most hyped and potentially Greatest player LSU has ever had and half the people on this thread would swap him for a dope head that couldn't even manage to stay eligible.

It's embarrassing.

And don't give me this BS line of how he's changed his life around blah blah blah... Good for him.

Doesn't change the fact he fricked over this coaches, teammates and fans while he was at LSU because of his his selfishness.
I swear to god some of you are absolutely worthless and borderline retarded.

No and anyone that thinks this would be a fair trade is an idiot. As far I know, he hasnt got his arse kicked off the team thereby casting a pall over the upcoming season.
Yall are too worried about what could have been when we got what is right in front of us.

one of the dumbest posts I've ever read.

It's not baseball, where a batter can figure out a pitcher after having faced him a couple times. Buffoon.

And your dumbass thinks this somehow has anything to do with the thread. You hate Mathieu. We get it, Lee.

Man...I don't see how some of you guys can dismiss Fournette so easily

Who's "dismissing" Fournette? I'm pretty sure people are just acknowledging how much of a game changer Mathieu was.

I think the gao between Guice and LF is smaller than the gap between TM7 and our other cbs.

I've got to break tendency and agree with you, Rick. We've got other great RBs on the roster, but no one remotely close to what Mathieu was. I'll take the Badger.

No one is throwing him to the trash. Tyrann was a bigger game changer than Leonard has been so far. Leonard put up historic numbers and we still lost 3 games. Give me the guy that could do it on special teams and had the ability to give our offense a short field to work with.

I don't hate Tmathieu at all.

What I can't stand is douche bags such as yourself that would be the first geek lined up in the honey badger dick sucking line, should LSU ever chose to put a statue of the little guy.

That unfortunately is a dream of many here that's just not gonna come true.
Sorry bro.

No

We need a game breaker on offense, particularly at RB since Les likes to run so much

If we had a weak secondary I might consider

you need to step back and chill out.

the answer is I am keeping Fournette. Our secondary is loaded and we need as much offense as possible

You're such a scared, insecure little man.

BUT ANYWAY... I'd prob take Mathieu. As another poster said, the gap between Fournette and Guice is likely smaller than that between Mathieu and the best defensive player on this team. Mathieu could change the complexion of a game unlike any player I've ever seen. Not an easy question to answer, no matter how you slice it.

I would trade Fournette for the entire 2011 Defence with Aranda as DC but not just for Mathieu. Mathieu whouldn't have been the Honey Badger without his crew to let him roam.
