Completely agree and I wouldn't have any doubts of doing it because Guice may be a Top10 running back.

Ability drop off from Mathieu to anyone else on defense is enormous.

Ability drop off from LF to Guice is moderate-large at best.

Give me Mathieu.

I probabaly would because i think Guice is that special of a rb. Id take TM7.

I think the gao between Guice and LF is smaller than the gap between TM7 and our other cbs. I dont think we have a Bednarik award winner in our secondary while i think Guice has the potential to be an all american.

Yea...because of Guice really. If we had some unknown after fournette then probably not.

Some would say Mathieu was a reproduction of Ed Reed...so there's that

No one has ever said that before your post. EVER.

we already have mathieu's legacy and a season for the ages.

i want LF's season in LSU's books and stake his claim to greatness. He will rewrite many records and i desire that as a Tiger fan.

There is a closer gap between Fournette and Guice than Mathieu and any other db. TM had the ability to do things on defense and special teams that no current player could.

Fournette is good, but we have a very capable replacement in Guice. Don't have anything like Mathieu.

Pretty easy trade imo. Mathieu brings so much to our defense and special teams.

It's nothing against Fournette, it's a credit to Guice being ready to carry the load.

Not to mention a huge credit to Tyrann Mathieu who was a special player. There's only one Honey Badger.

Damn good question, IMO. Would have to think long and hard about it.

Can't do it. Every time LF7 touches the ball it brings a sparkle to my eye.

Adams is basically the Guice of Mathieu so we are rock solid at safety.

Fournette is a once in a generation player that could possibly go his college career without making it to Atlanta. I don't see that much of a drop off with Guice. He's shown his own ability to be a Top10 rb. Mathieu is the reason we got to the championship game. There is no player on defense or special teams that could reproduce what he did.

Honey Badger is the best football player we've ever had. So yes I would.

Bingo! Without Guice the answer is hell no! With Guice it's probably yes.
