Would you rather see Ben Simmons go to 76ers or Lakers and why?

Lakers. He will never been on tv with sixers. He will lose a lot of games too

Hope he ends up in L.A. Would have a long successful career there.
Philly is a black hole.

Same here. I'd like it to be L.A. For the exposure but wouldn't mind seeing he and okafur play together. Somebody good will pic him up in a few years then we will see how good he can be.

Why would you want him to go to the 76ers? I see no positives in that for Ben.

I think Philly is a bad fit for him. Lots of front court by the basket players. Gonna be hard to spread teams out to make room near the basket. Which he needs.

Is he playing alongside Iverson?

Fine with either, Lakers would be the best situation for him and he grew up a fan.
Sixers would allow me to watch him more since west coast games tip off past my bedtime.

The bad part with L.A. and Philly is both teams cant shoot the 3, and Simmons cant shoot at all right now. So it's going to be rough going either way to start at both places.
Philly you can at least to them being bad due to extreme youth. So MAYBE in a few years once they all mesh could be a good team (Okafor, Noel, Simmons), they really need to get a shooter though.
L.A. doesnt look setup to succeed sooner, but you feel like their front office will make something happen long before Philly's would. Hard to see any young promising talent at the moment there, especially with the way Russell pulled that one stunt.

He didn't care about LSU, I don't care about him

Lakers hands down. Sixers was my team though with Dr J.

How? By having the best numbers in the history of collegiate freshmen?

Agree can't blame an 18 year old for having one of the worst coaches in the country.

I'd love to have another 1st overall pick from LSU. That doesn't happen often. Ben could move on after a few years and play wherever.

You cared enough to open a thread about him and comment on it. Crawl back in your hole.

For his sake, I'd rather see him go to the Lakers. It's a higher profile franchise and he'd probably make more in the long run.
Personally, although it's pretty unlikely I would do it, it'd be nice if he were in Philly because it's a pretty short trip there from here and maybe I could go watch him play sometime. I guess being in the Eastern Conference, he'd play here against the Wizards more often, too, which I might would actually go and see.
