Now that we see how the season has gone and we've played decently, would we be better with JOB at center or worse because he would have stunted the M's growth by taking 17 foot jumpers. Or would the growth of TQ and gaining Hornsby have changed his game a little as well. Just wondering, what yal think?

Would we be better or worse with a current NBA player?

I'm going to say better.

We'd have a defensive post presence with JOB.

Well we have 2 maybe 3 NBA players on this team. So adding another would make it better lol

At least you would have had a true post threat when you get in the halfcourt

My only thing is I remember people saying we'd be better without him when he declared. Just trying to see if the thoughts were still the same

It would have cut down on M&M's minutes most likely so that is a plus.

M&M would be more effective if playing closer to 30 minutes than 40. Add in the fact that Big E/Malone/Epps have been ineffective and I don't know how you could say that JOB wouldn't have helped this team. The real question is...would JJ have played more of a half court offense with that much size down low? How many times did you hear an announcer question why we were playing up tempo when the situation called for slowing down and using our size advantage?

Look no further than the end of the OM game when our players were launching (quick) 3's when the situation called for burning clock. JJ finally called a TO but he really shouldn't have to this deep into the season. The players should know better than that.

The JM's would have learned a lot more about finishing at the rim with someone hanging on for the ride with JOB3. Also he excels at head and ball fakes which neither of them do well. Tough post defender as well. He'd be the leading scorer and the minutes for the entire group would be thinned out. I'd say 26-4 right now; top 12-15 and a decent threat to win the SECT with JOB3.

Are you really asking if an nba player would make lsu better? You do know the nba is above college basketball, right?

Lol. No we dont. Do you know how rare it is to have 2 legit nba player on a roster? Let alone 3.
As of right now, im not sure 1 player on lsu's roster would make an nba team.

I will say that I doubt - JOB3, Martin and Mickey - would all 3 take the same game off, so we'd definitely be more consistent. They could have a 3 game rotation of which one doesn't show up.

For sure. JOB would probably be our leading scorer. I just find it funny that a postwr has to ask if an all sec 1st teamer and current nba player would make us better.
