Would LSU dominate the BIG12?

No one in that conference could compete. Maybe Oklahoma occasionally, but I've said it before; why are we sticking around in this conference? The officiating yesterday was some of the worst I've ever seen
The 'brand identity' of the SEC simply isn't what it used to be. The officiating stinks. We always get the short end on any type of negotiations: see 2016 Florida and every Bama game ever....
Why not ditch this conference? We'd dominate the big 12. We'd still get Texas and Louisiana recruits, which make up most of our classes anyway. What's the alternative? Stay in the conference? Pound our chest and say "SEC" when Bama wins another title while we continue to go 7-5 or 8-4? I'd take 11-1 in the BIG12 vs 7-5 in the SEC
ETA: I mean a normal LSU team. Not this year's

This year we could lose to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, West Virginia and Texas.
State beat us by 30 and we lost to Troy.
Also it's a pussy mentality to want to run away from Bama.

I agree with the Big 12 thing, but it seems like Texas runs a monopoly or so I have been told. I wouldn't mind us looking into the ACC TBH. That would be fun to see us play Miami, FL ST on occasion and Clemson as a natural rival as DV vs DV every year.

We’re an average SEC team at best this year, and excluding Bama, the SEC isn’t special this year.

School would get less money longhorn network / fox pretty much owns big12 rights. They don't split money the same as sec. Also it isn't the old big 12 they may not play defense but they damn sure play offense it wouldnt be like showing up for just a bowl game you'd have to put points on the board consistently. And the big12 brand identity is even worse if you think sec is bad.

Not with the way our defense is playing this year, right now. I expect that to change, but as it stands- no. And our offense wouldn't be able to keep pace. Not to mention there are the occasional teams in the Bevo 12 like TCU who are complete and do everything well.

The SEC is terrible this year—yesterday’s game a case in point.

From a pure selfish standpoint, sure I would love the big-12. I live in Austin. and the idea of leaving the SEC sounds great. They sure don't do LSU any favors. But The SEC has a pretty good revenue share with their members currently. The big 12 the longhorns get the lion share of the dollars. Why you think A&M bounced? But the longhorn network is not doing good. Nobody is watching it. Not even people in Austin. If the Big 12 moves to a SEC type revenue setup, I could be for it.. Yes the Longhorns will still get the treatment but come on..no one gets the home cooking like bama. Call me crazy.. but I am over all the SEC ra ra bs. especially the last 7 years. I would miss the old rivalries

Gotta have the capability to score at will and occasionally complete a wide open pass over the middle to compete in Big 12.

Ummm....we haven't dominated anybody this year. We would be middle of the pack in B12...maybe
