I think that he could be a great replacement for CLM. Him being in Alabama hurts his stock. With the talent here he could take over the SEC

Complains about LSU's downward trend

Wants a coach whose program is in an even steeper decline

He has a similar issue that Miles has:

Inability to develop a QB from HS.

No, his gimmick offense needed Cam Newton to win. No Cam Newton, no need for Gus Malzahn.

In three seasons of head-to-head competition with Miles, Malzahn is 1-2 in games, has finished the season ahead of LSU in the standings once (with a team that we skull-drug and who needed two miracle wins to even win the division), and is looking at a win-or-else hot seat season.

Why would we want any part of that?

No. Gus Malzahn was Program Savior Jesus who was obviously better than Miles in 2012. But since it's really hard to win consistently we now know that to be clearly untrue.

This is year's Program Savior Jesus is Tom Herman
