I think he may be one of the best available. He can keep O, perhaps Cam, hire a new DC and be good.

Are you really this stupid or just a troll?

Guy hasn't coached a down as a coordinator and you want to make him the head coach of a top 10 program. Geezus....no wonder this state is almost last in education categories.

he's a high school coach who hasn't made any progression as a college coach. you don't coach rbs and be the recruiting coordinator for a decade and expect to be a head coach. at least coach oline or something.

FW is perfectly acceptable as the LSU RB coach. Don't even want him as the RC. His classes are too unbalanced. Not enough SEC Championship caliber OL's/DL's/LB's and QB's.

He'd be Larry Porter at Memphis as HC at LSU.

No. An experienced coordinator would be, but not a position coach.
