on gameday.
I usually park by the Union, east of Highland. After the game i was going to turn south on Highland to get to Stadium dr. to get to Stanford but was re-directed to West Lakeshore DR.
Took us 1 1/2 hours to reach Darymple then another 20-30 to hit the Interstate.

Is there any worse traffic on campus after a game?

I saw that it was blocked. I had never seen that before.

4 years of parking there and have always been able to go south on Highland. Saw the barricade blocking Highland and was like

Yep. Did the same thing. Blocked for no apparent reason, and they had no police presence to make Lakeshore to Dalrymple less of a complete disaster. I can see why leaving early has its appeal.

Gonna be great when an extra 3000-5000 vehicles are added to problem with expansion.

Why would they try a new traffic block/pattern for a big game? I walk that way after every game and I looked to my left before crossing Highland and saw no cars coming and the barricade up.

All the bitching and complaining about every topic on this board is legit!

Not only new barricades in nonsensical locations, but a noticeably smaller police presence to direct traffic. No presence at Dalrymple and Lakeshore, which caused a 1.5 hour drive from the ZTA house to Dalrymple and then no presence at Perkins and Acadian, which caused a 45 minute drive from Chelsea's to Perkins/Acadian intersection. Almost 2.5 hours to get to Bluebonnet from U-High.
