Worried that Ole Miss exposes our defense this weekend

Our defensive stats say that LSU is one of the top defenses in the country. I just don't see it. LSU has played some very poor offenses this year. Missouri's offense is way overrated and has done nothing against decent competition. I think LSU is going to have to score a lot of points this weekend to keep up with Chad Kelly and company. Hope they are up for it.

Thanks for letting us know ole miss has a good offense. I don't think it'll be exposed as much as finally a true challenge. If we hold them to less than 30 that'll be an accomplishment honestly. You seem like a terrible person to party with too by the way.

They can and will throw the ball. I am confident in White locking his guy down most of the game and Jamal providing support, but Kelly will pick on our second CB, whoever that may be.

Also, Kelly can run the ball. Him extended plays and drives with his legs is a vital part of their offense. We need to contain him in the pocket and not let him ad lib.

Outside of Kelly though, they are not a good running team. Actually a terrible running team.

I find it hard to imagine us holding them to 1 touchdown

Mizz & USM were both top 10 offenses in the country. They both average over 500 yards per game and we only allowed like 200

Yeah awful. White, Adams, Toliver, Beckwith, Jackson, Key and Godchuax will all be drafted in the 1st 2 rounds in their respective classes, but yeah we suck.

Sounds like you better practice extra hard this week and watch a lot of game tape

Happy that Ole Miss provides an opportunity to demonstrate the incredible ability of LSU's awesome defense.

Jackson scares the shite out of me. I don't care how fast the dude is. I have yet to see him lock down anyone. He is the biggest flaw on our defense.

Tell me more about all of those offenses that put up huge numbers by exploiting this "flaw" or weakness!

Look, they are NOT going to throw to White's guy. So, the opportunities (those that are to be had) will be on the OTHER side.

So, what we see is completions over there. But, there have NOT been many and LSU has given up six....SIX...TDs combined.

It is like saying I'd rather be hit by a baseball bat swung by Ichiro than by Bautista.

Sure, Ichiro is "weaker" swinging than Bautista.....but, it ain't like it won't hurt

This! I've been more impressed the the turnaround on defense than the offense.

I get what you're saying. A lot of poorly thrown balls have saved him. From what I seen, He is good at times. But he looks lost a lot too.

Sure Ole piss will score (24 or so), but besides Bama, I don't think there is a better defense in the country to contain Swag. This game is going to be as brutal as we've seen and I wouldn't want to be a reb.

White,Jackson,Adams or Battle will do fine. Teams will and have picked on D.Thomas all year. It maybe time to tryout Smith or Fulton in the nickel. Also this is a game that Tolliver needs to use his height and size to make a difference for the defense

They're going to move the ball, the key is just keeping them out of the end zone. Go ahead and just prepare yourself for them to have 400 yards of offense and score 16-24 points.

Im worried that your to much of a pansy. Why are there worried threads everyday. Just have fun with it and see how the teams rises or falls to the moment.
