Meet Day! I will try to get started on the thread later today, but the ladies need to just survive and advance.

The judges have shown they will go high for perfect routines...my only head scratcher is one judge gave Nichols and Capps 9.9.., with Capps stumbling backwards OOB

Yeah I was wondering about that, too! Couldn't believe I saw a judge actually hold up a 9.90, especially when most of the scoring has been tough so far. Very few 9.90+

As much as o dislike UCLA, they do have some beautiful bar routines. I like Kocian and Ross a lot, they are really classy people, nice to see them enjoying college. It's unfortunate to say but now they can finally enjoy gymnastics. Competing at the elite level is ridiculously stressful

A fall on beam for UCLA but otherwise some really beautiful routines.

No one looks sharp today, just goes to show anything can happen in these meets

Oklahoma is at 98.7 half way through. But these judges are not messing around at all.

Utah is in trouble with beam and floor left.

Is the scoring for anyone else off? They are just giving averages rather than total scores.

Heres what Dandy Don is stating. Hes usually pretty accurate.....

Last but certainly not least, this weekend is as big as it gets in gymnastics as the Tigers are set to compete in NCAA championship action tonight in hopes of bringing home the program’s fist national championship tomorrow. No. 2 LSU will be competing in Semifinal II tonight at 7 p.m. CT against five teams – No. 3 Florida, No. 5 Michigan, No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Georgia and No. 10 Nebraska. The top three from this semifinal, as well as the top three from Semifinal I (noon today), will advance to tomorrow’s Super Six, which will decide the national champion. Today’s semifinals will be televised on ESPN, whereas tomorrow’s Super Six will be on ESPNU. All the action will be streamed online as well, accessible at WatchESPN.com and via the WatchESPN app.
