La Tech took this team to OT at WKU....y'all are greatly overrating this team
I don't think anyone is saying the team is good, just the QB. But WKU is better than Syracuse and E. Mich. Maybe Auburn, because of Doughty.

Their run defense is doggy doo-doo pooh.
Their passing defense is worse. So, I would still like to see the team work on the passing game.
However, it would be wise to keep the ball out of their offense's hands. LSU's secondary will definitely be tested. So nothing too crazy.

Vandy played that game smart and held onto the ball the majority of the game. That's why WKU didn't put up numbers in that game.
Vandy should have won actually.

Not sure how you come to this conclusion but okay. Doughty has the best numbers in all of college football.
Or he did before TCU played yesterday
Bowling Green's QB has better individual numbers, and both Bowling Green and Texas Tech are better as a team.
Edit: As far as yardage is concerned. Did not look at any efficiency numbers.

Some folks just see a score and react but forget how we play down to opponents.

Doughty is 2 in passing yards, 1 in completion percentage, and 2 in touchdowns

He was 19/30. Its not like he didn't get a chance to throw it.

This doesn't have anything to do with your Mett comment or us playing down to teams we should beat comfortably

No, I was addressing your comment that people only look at the score and make a judgement. That's not what I did.
My Mett comparison, as has been explained to you already, was mostly regarding his scrambling.
But I reserve the right to think that 2013 Mett, who ended the season at 10.2 ypa, would challenge Doughty, who is currently at 10.2 ypa, if he would have been asked to throw it 38 times per game against the bottom dwellers of passing defenses. I've already stated many times that the kid is an awesome QB.

We know we can run. I agree, throw it

We are always frustrating to watch at some lengthy point in a game but this year is special(except for our "special" teams). I'm taking my youngest to his first Tiger game this Saturday. So, I'm kinda glad it'll be closer than everyone else but LSU fans think it'll be.

Really gotta stop doing this. There are still 4 teams ahead of us without a loss who are mounting up style points. If we are to keep our destiny in our own hands and not depend on any of them to lose, we have to start scaring people.

Bringing our grandson to his first Tiger Stadium game this Saturday. When we were watching the game last night at home, he was so excited to think he was going to be there next week.
Chose this game for him specifically. Less drama, night game probability, price of tickets, good section for family seats.
Can't wait.!

According to my calculations, they're 6-1 vs. the #117 schedule. They have creamed their last four opponents, though (Miami-O, Rice, MTSU, UNT). They'll be up for the game, but LSU will ultimately steamroll.
