With the stars "aligning", will you be satisfied with a NY6 bowl?

Tons of players coming back
New dc
Great recruiting class
Favorable schedule
If we max out a a NY6 bowl next year, will you be satisfied? Even though it means even with everything going for us our ceiling is being on the outside looking in?

1 loss maximum. More than one loss is failure in 2016. Posi or nega shouldn't matter how you look at it. 10-2 is really good most seasons...not 2016.

It honestly depends how the season plays out, but at this point I'm finding it hard to think of anything other than a playoff appearance being acceptable

If we win the West and play a competitive game in the SEC championship but still lose and that keeps us out of the playoff and have to settle for NY6 bowl, then yes, I will be satisfied

How can anyone possibly object to this? With the talent we have coming back, failure to get a playoff spot is a reflection of the coaching staff.

what if we lose in the SEC championship game to the eventual national champion and that keeps us out of the playoffs?
it would certainly still be a failure, but how would that be any different than making the playoffs and losing in the semi finals?

It's called hedging their bets. They get mad at you if you don't think this team is going to be in the playoffs next year, but then will tell you that expecting to be in the playoffs is an unreasonable expectation. That's the beauty in arguing with people like this.
